(We have 6 digital video cameras that look at the hot glass inside the furnace through small holes.
They take flash images in blue light for contrast against the blackbody radiation every 6 minutes or so.)

(This time lapse movie of each camera in sequence is assembled by G. Gasson.
It shows the motion of the softening glass sped up by a factor of approximately 5000.
