  3. We were distracted by beautiful sun-burned Venetian women.

  4. The captain was too young.

  5. The bait was too small.

  6. "Hua Pala" means "no marlin" in the Hawaiian language.

  7. We reserved a boat, but not a fish.

  8. There were problems distinguishing astronomers from fish.

  9. Need more practice with the scaramantic gestures.

  10. The phase of the moon was wrong.
